Those weather are damned good at there job.

As i said last time i predicted that the thunderstorm wouldnt be that large and not do much for the temperture?

Well i was wrong. This storm (although it didnt do much over me) swamped a few villages in North Yorkshire and cut people off as roads and bridges where swept away, as a MONTHS rainfall fell in 3 hours.

There where, luckily, no human casualties, but several hundred livestock perished as the waters rose.

Also much of the North East and North Yorkshire was left without terrastrial televison as as the transmitter was flooded, leaving many blind to the news of what happened.

I'll think twice about cursing Randar's name, as he smote a tree in a firey explosion of lightning, wood and fire.

Today i feel like bitching about something.

Today i will bitch about how crap my char on NWN is.

If any DM's read this and want to talk to me via PM then sure i dont mind i just feel like this is a more appropriate place to do it.


Right.

My character is a Paladin. She's now Chaotic Good. This means that i have lost ALL of my powers except for my spells. This means that i am a fighter with spells. How useful is that to me really?

The reason i was put into CG was because i defended about an assassination that occured. So according to that i should be saying that ALL assassinations are bad. How bullshit can that be? Sure if it wasnt needed or if it started a war, then i would be against it, but i was defending that in some cases assassinations MIGHT of been required (although i would still be against them)

The DM's believed that this was a Chaotic trait/act. I believe that it should of been a move towards Neutral rather than Chaos.

But since this alignment move i have had some seriously fucked up luck. I recently went into the Dale of the Dead. I knew i wouldnt be able to hurt the Mummies in HtH or Ranged combat so i was basically a dead weight. If they attack me i either flee in terror (as i am no longer immumne to Fear) or i risk getting a disease if i dont run away (as i am also no longer immumne to Disease).

This means that i am weak in combat. The only use i really have now is as a healer (as my heal skill is very high). I also nearly died after i got surrounded by skeletons in the same area. The other party members where telling me to fall back, but it is REALLY HARD if you are mobbed by enemies and you have no chance of turning them. If i had my Turn Undead ability, then i wouldnt have to worry as much as i would be able to thin out the numbers or at the very least make them run away.

So far i have had to put that:

1. I am shit in combat
2. I flee in terror which is very uncharacteristic of a Paladin
3. I get mobbed in combat because i'm there
4. I think the DM's have something against Paladin's coz its easy to take it away but hard as fuck to get it back.
