Well it seems that theft happens everyhwere in life, be it here in the physcial world, or in the Miasma known as the internet.

an animator who posted on Albinoblacksheep had his work stolen after barely a day of it being uploaded. However when he was in conference with the sites owner, he put in some tracking-code to find out where it had been stolen to...

and guess where it ended up?

Mr. Bauman (or one of his employee's) has been decompiling and loading up flash animations (amongst other things) to his website for years. He even had the gaul to remove the "hosted on website x" that appears within the flash to prevent people knowing that his website has stolen the file.

This page has all the legal information about copyright. However if i ever actually do a flash animation (and i've tried several times to get one going but i seriously lack the skills) i will never give my permission to Mr. Bauman to place my file in his website.
